Firing rate

The maximum output should be chosen within area A)(Fig. 2) of
the diagram.
The minimum output must not be lower than the minimum limit
of the diagram.
The firing rate was obtained at an ambient tem-
perature of 20°C and an atmospheric pressure of
1000 mbar (approx. 100 m above sea level), and
with the combustion head adjusted as shown on

Test boiler

The firing rates were established in special test boilers, according
to EN 676 regulations.
In Fig. 3 you can see the diameter and length of the test combus-
tion chamber.
Example:
Output 756 kW (650 Mcal/h): diameter 60 cm, length 2 m.
