Maintenance

Caution Latch Inspection - latches must have the explosion - venting feature
tested periodically to insure that corrosion and/or buildup of foreign materials has
not affected the mechanism. the door is tested to release at 15 lbs. force.
s
The lubrication should be as follows:
Apply heavy grease to the spring and laminated cam inside the latch upon
original installation and regrease as necessary every 6-12 months. The crucial
pivot joint, which is the bearing pin about which the laminated cam pivots,
should be oiled with an SAE 30 to SAE 50 oil every two months, or more in the
case of any extremely corrosive atmosphere.
Inspection shall be performed at least every two months on the following:
1. Check to see that the latch is adequately lubricated.
2. Open the door to make sure all parts are free to move.
Safety Panel Replacement
In the event the safety blow-out panel is released, it may be re-installed by the
following method.
Pull out and release each door latch on the panel. This activates the trigger
mechanism on the latch, which releases on contact with the door strike. When all
latch triggers have been set, align the panel with the rear wall opening and press
into place. The panel is now mounted.
Cleaning of Control Compartment:
Efficient and long life service of the oven depends on the physical condition of all
the electrical components. Heavy accumulation of dirt or dust on the
microprocessor controller, solid state relay, timer switch, circuit breaker switch,
and the motor could cause these components to operate at higher than normal
temperatures and premature failures may result. Therefore, periodically
vacuum/blow dirt and dust off these components.
