Vacuum Gauge - Indicates chamber vacuum EXPLANATION OF CONTROLS (in inches of mercury). Control and Indicator Description Hose Connections - Used for connecting minimum 1/4" vacuum tubing between oven Power Switch - Applies power to the oven and vacuum pumping systems, or other heater controls. -

TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT Vacuum Sealing Agents High vacuum silicone grease is often necessary Apply power to the unit by pressing the power to provide a proper seal at tubing connections, switch to "On". Turn the Temp. Control knob fully valve connections, door seals, etc. This is clockwise. -

The oven is equipped with silicone door PERIODIC MAINTENANCE gaskets, unless specified otherwise. Do not use silicone door gaskets or vacuum grease If the oven fails to maintain set temperature, it when evaporating solvents in the oven or may indicate a problem with the Temp. when using high analine point oils. -
