The Transmit
VCO
produces
the
Frequency Modulated
(FM)
exciter frequencies.
Similar
to the Receive VCO, the steering line voltage of
the
transmit
reference
circuit determines the
VCO
operating frequency
within
a
given
sub-band.
Two
frequency sub-bands
are
provided via
a
bandshift switch circuit within
the
VCO.

SSCB. The modulation circuit is coupled with
the steering
line circuit
to

constant modulation as the steering line voltage changes for different operating
