Intermediate Power Amplifier
The Intermediate Power Amplifier (IPA)
is mounted in the top of the
RF
Tray,
as
shown in Figure
1-32.
A
block diagram of
the
IPA

independently from
the other sections of the
IPA. The
series
regulator circuit provides the station
with
a
clean +9.6
Vdc.
The filtered
+13.8
Vdc (A+)
Power Supply output
is the source
voltage for
generating
the +9.6
Vdc. The
+9.6
Vdc
is filtered
again
by
the
Uniboard.
