    1. Anti-theft coding Role of radio coding Removing the unit from the vehicle (for example, if you take your vehicle to the dealership for service and requires disconnecting the battery) will be necessary to recode the radio manually. If you install the radio in another vehicle, the recode also must be restored manually.
  • Page 4 Incorrect numeric code If you have accidentally entered a wrong number, “CODE 1 SAFE” will appear blinking in the display, then “CODE 1 1000”. You can repeat the process again. The number of attempts will be displayed. If you accidentally re-enter a wrong number again, “CODE 2 SAFE” will appear fixed on screen. The unit will be blocked per 1 hour.

    2. Factory Mode (code bypass mode) In order to make it possible to check the unit and the periphery during the mounting at the assembly line, the unit can be unlocked by pressing the combination of keys. That sequence can be repeated up to 50 times. The unlock unit can play for a timeout of 15 minutes, after this time the unit locks again.

    3. Radio ON/OFF Push left knob to switch radio ON/OFF. Without ignition key inserted (Kl.30: ON, Kl.15 & Contact S: OFF), push left encoder may switch on radio to work per 30 minutes, after 30 minutes, radio will power off automatically. Each time radio turns on, radio’s audio is started immediately (in the LSM) and user can do any adjustment.

    4. Radio Volume Adjustment Rotating left knob may adjust radio volume level; radio will display the volume level bar per 5 seconds. Rotate clockwise, increase radio volume; Rotate anti-clockwise, decrease radio volume. For FM/AM modes: rotate the volume 0 will pause the music, so none additional function is allowed. For CD, SD card, USB, IPOD and Bluetooth Audio modes: rotate the volume 0 will pause the music (and the CD mechanism), so none additional function is allowed, muted speaker icon appears to the right in the upper line of display;...

    6. CD Operation 6.1 CD insertion At moment to insert CD, the display will show READING all of the time until radio is ready to play and then changes to CD mode. In case to insert a CD upside-down, CD damaged, dirty or with wrong type like CD Data, the display will show CD ERROR per 2 seconds, the radio will eject this CD immediately and reverts to LSM CD Mechanism pick up temperature >...
  • Page 15 6.2 CD ejection At moment to eject the CD, the display does not make any indication and radio goes to LSM. The CD ejection must be possible without ignition key inserted (K15 and S-Contact signals OFF). If nobody takes out the CD after 10 seconds, radio will insert the CD automatically without change to CD mode. Radio is in FM mode and there is not a CD inserted, short press HK [ ] button, radio will display “NO CD”...

Media Operation It is possible connect to the radio the following devices: • SD card • USB memory or iPod • AUX connection • Bluetooth audio device (A2DP profile) • Radio is in FM mode and previous mode was SD, SD card in slot.   • Page 23 If CD / USB / IPOD /SD card has not files, radio will display NO FILE per 2 seconds and radio reverts to LSM. If CD / USB / IPOD /SD card has files, but they are not supported by radio, radio will display NOT SUPPORT per 2 seconds and radio reverts to LSM.

    8. CD-MP3 / USB / SD Card Play Operation 8.1 CD-MP3 / USB / SD Card Mode Select Select CD MP3 mode is same as 6.3 CD Mode select Select USB / SD card MP3 mode is same as 7. Media operation 8.2 CD-MP3 / USB / SD card indications In the upper line, display will show the mode and kind of file to play: CD MP3, CD WMA, USB MP3, USB WMA, SD MP3 or SD WMA.

    10. BT AUDIO Operation 10.1 BT AUDIO Mode Select Select BT AUDIO mode is same as 7. Media operation 10.2 BT AUDIO operation If there is a BT AUDIO connection, radio will display “BT AUDIO”. In case of cell phones with AVRCP 1.3 or higher, radio display will show Metadata information on the track itself (artist, track name, etc.).

    11. IPOD Operation 11.1 IPOD Mode Select Select IPOD mode is same as 7. Media operation 11.2 IPOD indications After IPOD is connected to radio and read out, radio will play from the position where IPOD was connected. The initial status can be: IPOD play in playlists, artists, albums, songs, podcasts, genres, composers or audiobooks. Per example, these are some examples of IPOD indications.
  • Page 36 Rotating clockwise/counterclockwise right knob may select the previous or next file to play. If rotate knob continuously users can fast skip the tracks, the max fast skip track number is 5, and the 2 actions in 25 ms, it will be regard as 1 action. After the last file in current album / playlist / Songs, etc is completely played, radio will switch to the first file of this album / playlist / Songs, etc, radio will display the first file title.
  • Page 37 Short press right arrow button or right knob may play the track focused on by the cursor (small filled triangle) and then radio resumes normal operation. Radio will display a slide bar if there are more than 4 files in the songs / folders/categories. In browse list, short press left arrow button can revert to the parent directory.
  • Page 38 Fast forward operation in the last file of current folder or SONGS must stop at the end of this file and resume normal operation at the beginning of the first file of current folder or SONGS, otherwise fast forward operation will continue in all the other files of current folder or SONGS.

    12. Phone Operation 12.1 Bluetooth Operation Conditions Bluetooth Kl,15 Radio Contact S OFF/ON 12.2 Phone Operation Non Phone mode short press HK [ ] button will switch to Phone menu, it does not interrupt current audio output. 12.3 Bluetooth Pairing Case 1: no cell phone paired to radio.

When short press SK [] button, radio can be searched by cell phone per 5 minutes, during this time only one cell phone can pair with radio via inputting pin code.

The cursor will focus on the connected phone (if there is not connected phone, focus on the first phone), rotate right knob to display next page phone.

    20. Software Update While radio is powered on, insert USB or SD card, USB or SD card has software update file plus other files. Radio will switch to software update mode if long press more than 5 sec SK [1] and [5] buttons. The maximum time is 15 minutes for updating process.
