14. MFL key function short description

These features are based according to Highline-Kombi-MMI (PQ35x, PQ46x, T5-GP) Version 1.4 (MJ2009) dated
29.03.2007; MIB-G_BAP-MSCs_Audio_V1.03.pdf, MIB-G_Audio_FSG_Bedatung_P30DF31_MJ2013_v1.06_F.pdf
All the functions are done with left control panel of steering wheel, if the vehicle is equipped with right control panel of
steering wheel, no action is done.
1. Volume plus switch
If short press once, it increases volume one step level. If long press increases volume step by step continuously. In
both cases increase volume in any mode operation: radio, CD, MP3 or USB, phone call, etc.

Telephone switch
If short press once:
Answers a call if there is a call incoming.
Hangs up a call if there is an ongoing call (TALKING).
Hangs up a call during "DIALING" process.
If there is not any incoming call or ongoing call, the user can select with switches 4 or 5 the last 15 calls
(dialed/income)
If short press twice:
Radio dials last call (dialed/income)
If there is not a paired cell phone, radio change to "PAIRING" mode.
If long press:
Rejects a call if there is a call incoming.
During an ongoing call (TALKING), radio will change to private mode, long press this button again, radio will
return to handsfree mode.
3. Volume minus switch
If short press once, it decreases volume one step level. If long press decreases volume step by step continuously. In
both cases decrease volume in any mode operation: radio, CD, MP3 or USB, phone call, etc.

Backward switch control
If short press once in tuner, CD, MP3, USB, SD, BT AUDIO, IPOD modes, radio will seek down or track down. If long
press, radio will perform target seek down or fast rewind in track.
