CAUSE
P/A unit is not turned on.
Partially kinked or collapsed line.
H1, H2 or R port screen filters are
plugged with contamination.
Helm lines plumbed with tube.
Note sequence of blinking lights
Helm is super charging.
Motor operating.
Hitting hard-over causing hose
expansion.
Power assist is pressurizing system.
Power Assist wired to same distribution
panel as noise sensitive equipment.
Sensitive equipment is not meeting
immunity standards.
SOLUTION
See fault #1
Check all lines for a sign of a collapsed
or kinked line
Remove H1, H2 and R hose and fittings.
Clean screens located in the adapter
fittings.
Replace tube with SeaStar hose.
See section 5.1.
Super charging is a normal occurrence
with PRO systems when running at
higher loads or hitting the hard over
point. This should not be taken as a fault
in the system.
This is a normal occurrence with the
Power Assist unit; mount the P/A in an
area where it can not easily be handled
and away from flammable materials.
This is a normal occurrence when using
the power assist system.
This is a normal occurrence when using
a power assist.
Wire Power Assist to separate distribution
panel or direct to the battery.
Add noise suppression/isolation
between power source and sensitive
equipment.
