The T-45 Goshawk has its origins in the mid-1970s, during which time the U.S. Navy formally commenced its search for a new jet trainer aircraft to serve as a single replacement for both its T-2 Buckeye and A-4 Skyhawk trainers.

  • Page 4 Glue antenna in place with PT56 Glue. The Pito tube is an interference t and we do not recommend glueing due to transportation damage. Glue the antenne as shown.
  • Page 5 If you have purchased the T45, please glue in place the tailhook as shown. Please glue in place the rear ns as shown.
  • Page 6 Secure the nose in place with the 4x 4mm x 50mm bolts and washers. Secure the n in place with the 4x 3mm x 10mm bolts. Ensure when connecting the n the rudder servo output aligns with the rudder.
  • Page 7 Secure the wings in place with the 4x 3mm x 10mm bolts. Secure the rear tail sections using the 4x 3mm x 10mm bolts.
  • Page 8 The Canopy is attached by the spring catch to the rear of the hatch.
  • Page 9 It is extremely important that you obtain the correct COG. Always ensure fuel tanks are empty. The COG should be achieved by moving your receiver / ECU batteries to hit the goal of 90mm.

The design of the aircraft has reached the upper limit of EPO foam. It is recommended to y carefully at high speed and avoid high speed maneuvers avoiding stressing the airframe beyond its capability.
