Wouxun PSB-1000

Installation Instructions

To install a Wouxun mobile radio into the base station, follow the instructions below.

WARNING: Be sure the radio and base station power supply are turned off and disconnected from any power

source before attempting the installation procedure.

Removing the cover will expose internal components of the power supply. For your personal safety, do not

touch or handle any circuitry within the power supply unit. Use extreme caution when installing the radio into

or removing it from the base station kit.

1. Remove the four screws shown in fig. 1 below from each side of the base station.

2. Carefully slide the metal frame of the base station up and off the power supply housing.

3. Turn the base station frame upside down and locate the mounting bracket attached to the inside of the frame.

4. Remove the two screws that secure the mounting bracket to the base station frame (1 on each side).

5. Place the mounting bracket over the bottom of radio and in the orientation as shown in fig. 2.
