PRINCESS TRAVEL POD COFFEE MAKER
BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Only connect this appliance to an earthed socket.
First clean the system by making a cup of hot water, so without adding coffee.

USING THE COFFEE MAKER

Fill the water reservoir with cool water. Make sure not to put more water in the reservoir than the cup you
are going to use will hold.
Place the coffee pod into the pod holder.
Insert the pod holder into the appliance.
Place the coffee cup on the base under the brewing compartment.
Plug the appliance into an earthed socket and push the switch to switch on the appliance.
Once the cup of coffee is made, the appliance will switch off automatically.
Caution: The water reservoir has a larger volume than the average coffee cup. Because the appliance only
switches off once it has completely emptied the reservoir, your cup will overflow if you put too much
water in the reservoir. Therefore, make sure not to put more water in the reservoir than the cup you are
going to use will hold.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS TO AVOID SCRATCHING THE PRODUCT.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
The attachment parts are not dishwasher-safe. Clean them therefore by hand. The outside of the coffee-
maker can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Place the appliance on a sturdy, stable surface.
- Ensure that the appliance is not so close to the edge of a table, counter top etc, that someone could
knock it over. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge or on the floor, as someone may become
entangled in it or trip over it. Remember, during coffee making the appliance contains hot fluids!
- Do not use the equipment if it is damaged, or if the cord is damaged. Send it to our Service
Department. With this type of appliance, a damaged cord must only be replaced by our service
department using special tools.
- Do not place the appliance on or directly adjacent to a warm hotplate or other source of heat.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning products.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The use of this appliance by people - including children - with a physical, sensory,
mental or motorial disability, or lack of experience and knowledge can be hazardous.
Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise their
use of the appliance.
