Wire colors
Ground Output to activate "cruise" indicator on Dakota Digital dash or ground side of LED
Orange
Yellow
Clutch Switch triggered by a positive voltage
White
Clutch Switch triggered by a ground signal
Speed input wire – requiring a 4,000 pulse per mile, square wave signal
Purple
Blue
Constant power (hot side of brake pedal can work)
Red
Key on power, accessory or ignition from fuse panel
Black
Chassis ground
White/Brown Cold side of brake switch
➢ When connecting leads to a vehicle, soldering is preferred over crimp connectors.
