Installation Instruction

Avoid such places where:
(a) Oil mist or oil gas exists, such as kitchen, or plastic parts may age, or a water leakage
may occur.
(b) Where there is corrosive gas. Copper tube and welded parts may be damaged due to corrsion,
causing leakage.
(c) Where there is strong radiation. This will affect the unit's control system causing malfunction
of the unit.
(d) Where flamable gas, dirt, and volatile matter(thinner, gasoline) exist, these items will cause fire
risk.
Refer to paper pattern when installing the unit.
The Free Multi air conditioning system adopts the " SAME MODE " control method, that is to say,
all the indoor units those connected to the same outdoor unit can only work in the same mode, it
can not realize the synchronously cooling and heating operation.
To protect the compressors, the system must be in " Stand-By " mode before running to warm up
the crankcases by the crankcase heaters at least 12 hours.
Pay special care to the following and check after installation
Item to the checked
Is the indoor unit firmly installed?
Has there been a gas leakage check performed?
Is the unit properly insulated?
Is the water drainage smooth?
Does the power supply meet that stipulated on
the nameplate?
Is the wiring and piping correctly arranged?
Is the unit safely earthed?
Is the cable size correct?
Are there any obstacles in the way of the air inlet
and outlet grille, of the indoor and outdoor units?
Has the correct amount of refrigerant charging
been used for the piping length?
CAUTION !
WARNING!
Improper installation may cause
Unit might fall down, vibrate or produce
excessive noise.
This may lead to gas shortage.
Dew or water droplets may occur.

This may cause poor cooling.
It is hard to control refrigerant charging amount.
