(3). Piping connection
The Outdoor unit is precharged with R22 refrigerant.
Refer to Fig.2, when connecting and removing piping from unit.
For the size of the flare nut, please refer to Table 1.
Bend pipe, with as large as possible radius so as not to crush pipe. When connecting pipe, hold the pipe
central an then screw nut on by hand, refer to Fig.
Apply refrigerant oil at both inside and outside of flare nut. Tighten by hand 3-4 turns then tighten as specified.
Be careful not to let foreign matters, such as sand enter the pipe.
Use torque specified in Table 1. (T oo much force may damage the flare nut, causing gas leakage).
Check piping joints for gas leakage. Insulate piping as shown in Fig. below.
Cover joint of gas piping and insulator with seal.
Apply refrigerant oil
