Cautions
Avoiding cold air
When started for heating, the indoor
unit will not operate immediately in
order to ensure that the unit does not
emit cold air.
Defrosting
During the heating process, the air conditioner can
automatically defrost ice accumulated on the outdoor unit
heat exchanger. This process takes a few minutes. When
the defrosting mode is activated, the outdoor unit and
indoor unit cease operation. After completion of defrosting,
the air conditioner will resume operation.
Note
When the air conditioner is used for
heating, heat from outside the room is
transferred to inside. In such a case, the
heating performance of the air
conditioner will largely depend on the
open area temperature.
