Basic Operation

Adjusting the Volume

Press the (+) or (–) VOL buttons on the remote control to increase or decrease the volume. The
indicator bar on the display shows the increase or decrease.

Muting the Sound

1 Press the MUTE button to temporarily turn off the sound.
2 Press the MUTE button again to restore the sound back to the previous level.

Turning On and Off the LCD TV

To turn on the display, press the PWR button on the remote control. The Power LED on the display
turns blue.
To turn off the display, press the PWR button on the remote control. The Power LED on the display
turns red.

First Time Setup for Channels

First select the TV receiving mode to Air or Cable. Use the Channel Search feature to set up your
channels. The Channel Search scans channels 1 to 125 and adds the channels that return a signal.
Use the following steps to run the Channel Search:
1 Press the ENTER button on the remote control to display the Menu screen.
2 Use the arrows to select the System Page and press the ENTER button.
3 Arrow down and press the ENTER button to enter the Channel Search feature.
4 Use the right arrow to select Yes and then press ENTER.

Changing Channels

Press the (+) or (–) CH buttons on the remote control to change the channel up or down.
This LCD TV set allows you to select up to 125 channels (1 to 125). To select a channel, enter a
one- or two- or three-digit number, or use the channel up or channel down buttons.
To select a one or two-digit channel number (for example, channel 5):

on the remote control, and then press 5 immediately.
