Preparation for mounting
• Only mount the light on a stable surface. Depending on the surface, the screws/
dowels provided or other suitable screws/dowels must be used.
• The connection point used for the product (mains socket) must be protected with
a 10/16 A fuse at the sub-distribution. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be
installed before this.
• The product may only be installed when it is disconnected from the power supply. It
is not sufficient just to turn off light switches!
• Ensure that the mains plug is disconnected.
• Do not mount the light too close to fireplaces or other hot areas. Keep the light away
from wash basins, sinks etc. and other sources of moisture.

Mounting and connection

Pay attention to all the information in the "Meaning of symbols", "Safety
instructions" and "Preparation for mounting" sections to ensure that the
light is mounted properly and safely.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are
damaged when drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
• Use a pencil to draw a horizontal/aligning line on the mounting surface along the
length of the light.
• Mark and then drill two mounting holes.
• Secure the two retaining clamps using the screws and then align them
horizontally. Do not overtighten the screws, as there should still be some room for
fine-tuning when the light is inserted into the clamps.
• Place the light into the clamps and click into place to secure.
• If needed, connect additional light units without/with the connection cable
provided. Before doing so you must remove the plastic protective cap on the
connecting light (apart from the last light in the row).
You can connect up to 35 lights (see product label) of the same type and
wattage to a power supply. If you wish to add more lights, follow the
steps outlined above for each individual light. Use the connection cable
provided to connect another light.

Operation

1. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket.
2. Turn the light on/off using the toggle switch.
Light units that are connected in a row can be turned on/off individually.

Maintenance and cleaning

Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other
chemical solutions, as these could damage the housing or even impair
the functioning of the product.
• You do not need to carry out maintenance work on the product. Leave maintenance
or repair work to an expert. The LED light bulbs are firmly embedded and cannot be
replaced.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug and let the light cool down to room
temperature.
• You can use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the light. Dust can be easily removed
using a clean and soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
