Intended use
This product is designed for use as an indoor light. A total of up to 35 lights of the same
type and wattage can be connected together in a row.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Meaning of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to your
health, e.g. due to an electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specific risks associated with handling,
function and use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is not dimmable.
This symbol indicates that the product must only be used in dry indoor
areas.
This symbol indicates that the product is built according to protection
class II. It is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the
mains circuit and the output voltage.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions included with
the product.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• Mount the light so that children cannot reach it.
• The product must only be operated using the mains voltage (see "Technical
data" section). Never try to operate the product using another type of
voltage as this will destroy the product.
• The product is constructed according to protection class II.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The product is not dimmable.
• Ensure that you mount the light in the correct mounting position (see
"Mounting and connection" section), otherwise there is a risk of a fatal
electric shock!
• Do not mount and use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental
conditions that contain or may contain flammable gases, vapours or dust!
There is a risk of explosion!
• Only connect additional lights using the connection cable provided. The
protective cover on the end of the last light must not be removed.
• The maximum number of connected lights must not exceed the number
stated on the product, otherwise there is a risk of the light overheating.
The maximum number of connected lights stated on the product refers
to the connection of lights with the same wattage. Lights with different
wattages must not be connected. The current consumption must not
exceed 1.8 A once the lights have been connected.
• The light must only be mounted on a non-conductive surface.
• The light must only be used when mounted in a fixed location. Never
mount the light in vehicles.
• Do not hang or secure any objects (e.g. decorations) to the light.
• The LED light bulbs cannot be changed. If the light comes into contact with
moisture, disconnect it from the mains. Let the light dry out completely
before using it again.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily
accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always
pull it from the mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device
for an extended period of time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket
during thunderstorms.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp
edges or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on
the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable,
otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can
cause a fatal electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the
respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then
carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product
if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a
workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified
person, so as to prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical
equipment and facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability
Association must be adhered to!
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating

personnel.
