• Do not install the product near bright lights or point the sensor at sources of light. The sensor will stop
working when the light intensity (LUX) is set to dark.
b) Installation
• Turn the lamp shade anticlockwise and pull it upwards to detach it from
the light.
• Use the base as a template to mark the position of the drill holes on the
mounting surface.
• Drill two holes (approx. 3 cm deep) for the dowels into the mounting
surface. (If you are using a wooden surface, you can screw the base
directly to the surface without using dowels. However, you should still
drill holes even when using wood.)
• Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
• Pierce one of the rubber cable holes with a round, pointed object.
• Guide the mains cable through the hole and ensure that it protrudes
enough to connect the wires to your lighting system.
• Secure the base to the surface using the screws provided.
• Remove the outer insulation on the wires to a maximum length of about
10 mm
16 mm. Strip the insulation on each of the three wires on the mains cable
to a length of about 6 mm. The earth cable (yellow-green cable) should
6 mm
be at least 6 mm longer so that it remains the last cable in the screw
terminal in the event of a fault.
• The neutral wire should be connected to "N", the live wire (phase) to "L",
and the protective earth to the clamping point with the " " symbol.
• Screw the protective earth wire to the corresponding clamp in the
terminal. Guide the neutral and live wires into the "N" and "L" clamps and
screw them in place with a screwdriver.
• Place the lamp shade onto the base, ensuring that the vertical grooves
on the shade are aligned with the slots on the base. Turn the lamp shade
clockwise to secure it in place. In damp areas, apply some grease to the
screw contacts and wires to prevent oxidation, which can cause contact
issues.

Operation

To turn on the light, switch on the corresponding power supply (e.g. turn on the light switch, or insert the
mains plug if you connected a plug to the mains cable. These components are not included with the product).
Adjusting the brightness, motion detection range, and timer
• The range setting (SENSITIVITY) determines the range at which the motion sensor
SENSITIVITY
detects movement. Remember to consider the height of the light when setting the
range. For best results, set the range so that the sensor can detect the movement of
people in the immediate vicinity.
• Turn the dial to the desired setting using a suitable screwdriver.
6 metre
1 metre range
• The timer setting (TIME) determines how long the light stays switched on for after
TIME
movement is detected.
• Turn the dial to the desired setting using a suitable screwdriver.
5 seconds (±3 s)
• The brightness setting (LUX) determines the brightness at which the motion detector
LUX
is activated. If the brightness drops below the selected value, the motion detector will
switch the light on when motion is detected.
• Turn the dial to the desired setting using a suitable screwdriver.
= Only turns on in the dark
12 minutes (±1 min)
= Turns on during the day
Maintenance and cleaning
• Before cleaning the light, turn off the mains voltage (or disconnect it from the mains) and let it cool down.
• Dust can be easily removed using a clean, soft paintbrush and a vacuum cleaner.
• Do not wear metallic or conductive jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets or rings when carrying out
maintenance work on the product (including cleaning).
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or even prevent the light from functioning properly.
• Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
