System Board Assembly

The system board contains the PCX–L2 processor, the main system memory, the core I/O, and the
standard on–board GRAFFITI graphics subsystem. The system board has six memory slots to
support up to 384 MByte of memory, and up to 748 MByte when 64 MBit DRAMS are available.
The B132L/B160L supports an optional 1MB of second level cache through a pair of 512KB cache
DIMMs.
Back Plane
The backplane board contains the logic, as well as the connectors to the system board, the optional
Fast–Wide SCSI board, the power supply, fans, speaker, and the expansion I/O slots (GSC and PCI).
