Setting the timer
The timer can be set to turn off the dehumidifier after a specified period.
1. Tap the timer button once and the appliance will make a buzzing sound.
2. Adjust the time by using the left and right adjustment keys. The timer can be set
between 0–24 hours.
To change the timer, press the timer button to reset, then set the timer again.
Notes:
• If the power button is pressed before the timer has elapsed, the timer will be
cancelled.
• If the mode is changed in between the time the timer is set and when the
dehumidifier turns off, the dehumidifier will operate in the former mode when
turned back on.
Defrosting
When the ambient temperature is between 5–18°C, the compressor will enter a defrosting
cycle at regular intervals.
When defrosting, the compressor will not be user-functional, but the fan will still be working.
Water tank drainage
As the appliance is used, the water
tank will begin filling with
condensed water. The water level
can be tracked by looking at the
tank window. When the water tank
is full, the appliance will sound an
alarm and the water tank full
indicator light will illuminate.
To drain the water tank:
1. Using the handle and push-in handle, carry the tank to an area you wish to drain the
water.
2. Hooking under the bottom, gently pull out the water tank. Lift the drainage lid
located on the corner of the tank lid and slowly tilt the tank to empty.
3. After the water is emptied, insert it back into the appliance until it locks in place. The
water tank full indicator light will disappear.
Notes:
• If the water tank is pulled out at any time during operation, the water tank full
indicator light will also illuminate.
• When the water tank full indicator light is illuminated, the appliance will enter
standby and all functions except the power button will not be functional.
