● Refrigerator may not be installed properly.
Possible Cause
Floor bends
Refrigerator comes in contact with the wall or
furniture, etc.
Leg cover comes off
● You may feel that the operation sound is large because the compressor operates in high-speed under the
following conditions: the refrigerator does not cool fully on the occasion such as using it for the fi rst time,
opening/closing the door frequently, the surrounding temperature is high.
→ The sound becomes small after cooling fully.
● It is because the compressor operates in low-speed for conserving energy.
● It is because the system changes the operating power of the refrigerator according to the
temperature change.
● The following sounds are generated when the refrigerator is operating normally, so they do not
indicate any trouble.
Type of sound
・ Sound like water fl owing (trickling)
・ Sound like collision (tapping)
・ Sound like water boiling (bubbling up)
・ Sound like meat roasting (sizzling)
・ Sound like squeaking (cracking)
・ Sound like something is caught (clacking)

● Hot air may come from the bottom of the refrigerator to exhaust the heat generated when the
cooling device operates.
→ The temperature may reach 50 〜 60˚C immediately after installation or in summer, but there is no
problem with the safety and the performance.
Please check. This is the cause.
Lay the fi rm board on the fl oor and install the refrigerator on it.

refrigerator temperature changes.

These sounds are caused when ice separates from the ice tray
of the Automatic ice maker or ice is supplied to the ice tray.
These sounds also occur every 2 hours if the water supply
container is empty.
If you turn off the 停止 lamp, ice making stops and the
sound does not occur.
This sound is caused when the refrigerator starts the operation
to cool.
