Engine Oil
Changing Engine Oil
Refer to Saf ety Precautions
This procedure requires mechanical skill and professional tools such as a
torque wrench, as well as a means for disposing of the drained fluid
(page 158 ). If you do not have the skills or the tools, see your Honda
dealer.
Drain the Engine Oil:
1. With the ATV on the level ground, remove the oil filler cap/dipstick
from the left side of crankcase.
2. Place an oil drain pan under the crankcase and remove the engine oil
drain plug ( ).
