Changing Materials

NOTICE
Changing the material types used in your equipment
requires special attention to avoid equipment damage
and downtime.
• When changing materials, flush the equipment
multiple times to ensure it is thoroughly clean.
• Always clean the fluid inlet strainers after flushing.
• Check with your material manufacturer for
chemical compatibility.
• When changing between epoxies and urethanes or
polyureas, disassemble and clean all fluid
components and change hoses. Epoxies often
have amines on the B (hardener) side. Polyureas
often have amines on the B (resin) side.

Product Introduction
The PR70 ISO Lube Recirculation Kit is an auxiliary
item, when used with moisture sensitive or reactive
materials. The kit is intended to recirculate IsoGuard
Select (IGS) through the pump bearing housing to
prevent the material from hardening on the pump shaft.
• IGS Fluid - one quart bottle = 24D086
• IGS Fluid - six pack carton of one quart bottles =
24F516
NOTE: IsoGuard Select (IGS) is for PUR or reactive
polyurethane materials. IGS is designed to dissolve and
suspend the polyurethane materials. IGS will thicken or
solidify after a period of time and should be replaced
once the material starts to thicken.
