Operation
The correct browning
level
Please note:
– Differences between types of
bread as well as moisture and
thickness of each slice affect
how the bread is toasted.
– Toast brown bread using a
higher toasting setting than for
white bread.
– Stored dry bread toasts more
quickly than fresh bread.
The browning control (6) allows
you to set your preferred level of
browning from 1 (light) to 6 (dark).
Set the browning level
when toasting just one slice
of bread lower than when you are
toasting two.

Toasting

Before getting started:
• Read the "Safety" chapter on
page EN-4.
• Set up the appliance as de-
scribed in section "Getting
started" on page EN-14.
It is possible to toast slices of
bread no thicker than 14 mm. Do
not use slices that are too thick
or large as these become easily
trapped.
1. Insert the mains plug into an
easily accessible, properly in-
stalled earthed socket.

2. Insert the slice(s) of toast into
the toasting slot (1).
