Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not nec-
essarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please
check the tables to see if you can correct the malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised
specialists are allowed to carry out this repair work.
Problem
The toaster is
not working.
Bread slice(s)
are not ejected.
Possible cause Solutions, tips
Operating lever
not pressed.
Mains plug is
loose.
The socket is
defective.
Bread slice(s)
stuck.
Press the operating lever down.
Check that the mains plug is
firmly inserted into the socket.
Try the appliance with a different
socket.
Check the fuses.
Pull out the mains plug, let the
appliance cool down and then
use a blunt wooden stick (e.g.
wooden spoon handle) to loosen
the bread. Do not touch the
heating wires in the process.
