WARNING
Risk of short circuit/electric
shock!
Water which penetrates into
the appliance may cause
short-circuiting.
■ Switch off the appliance
and pull out the mains plug
before cleaning.
■ Do not submerse the appli-
ance or the plug in water.
■ Do not use a steam cleaner.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The appliance will become
very hot during operation and
also remains hot for some
time after switching it off.
Touching the hot appliance
can lead to burns.
■ Do not touch any of the
metal parts and do not
come into contact with the
toasting slot.
■ Allow the appliance to cool
completely before cleaning
or storing it.
■ Only move the appliance
after it has been allowed to
cool.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Do not use any sol-
vent-based, corrosive or
abrasive cleaning agents
or cleaning utensils (e.g.
pot sponges, etc.). They can
scratch the surface of the
appliance.
■ Do not clean with oven
cleaner or grill spray.
■ Thoroughly dry all parts af-
ter cleaning.
