Fire hazard!
Bread can catch fire. Flam-
mable objects placed imme-
diately next to the appliance
may ignite easily.
■ Do not position the appli-
ance near or beneath cur-
tains or other flammable
materials. Monitor the ap-
pliance when in use.
■ Do not place any flamma-
ble or easily ignited objects
on top of the appliance
while in use.
■ Never cover the appliance
e.g. with towels.
Differences between types of
bread as well as moisture and
thickness of each slice affect how
the bread is toasted.
•
Toast brown bread at a high-
er toasting power than white
bread.
Stored dry bread toasts more
quickly than fresh bread.
Operation
•
Do not use slices that are too
thick or too large, as these can
get stuck.
You can toast bread slices up
to a maximum thickness of
14 mm.
•
If slices become jammed, first
unplug the appliance. Then
loosen the bread with a blunt
wooden stick (e.g. a wooden
spoon handle).
Be careful not to touch the
heating elements.
