Inspect all contents prior to installation. Report any missing parts to dealer immediately.
Read all instructions before proceeding.
Only compatible with Bison soccer goals with 1.66" diameter rear spreader bars.
1.
Assemble the rest of the soccer goals according to instructions provided with the goal.
2.
Detach the 1.66" diameter rear spreader bar from the T-Connectors previously mounted to the 1.66"
side backstays. See Figures 1 and 2.
3.
Loosen the 5/16" U-Bolts that attach the previously installed T-Connector to the backstay so that they
move freely up and down on the angled section of the side backstays. See Figures 1 and 2.
4.
Fill each Ballast Drum (A) completely with sand making sure that the sand is compacted. Each
Ballast Drum (A) should hold 60-70 pounds of sand. Adding a small amount of water will help
compact the sand. Once full, re-install the Ballast Drum Plug (D) and tighten securely to ensure that
sand cannot escape.
5.
Slide the Ballast Drums (A), Net Retention Bars (B) and 3 3/4" Washers (C) onto each end of the
1.66" rear spreader bar as shown. See Figures 1 and 2.
6.
Reinsert each end of the rear spreader bar into the receiver tubes on the T-Connectors attached to the
side backstays. The T-Connectors will need to move up the backstay to make this attachment. Re-
attach the rear spreader bar to the T-Connectors with hardware provided.
7.
Position the Net Retention Bars (B), the 3 3/4" Washers (C) and the Ballast Drums (A)
approximately 4 feet from the side backstays. Using four #14 X 3/4" Self Drilling/Threading Hex
Screws (E) per Net Retention Bar (B), attach the Net Retention Bar (B) to the rear spreader bar.
See Figure 2.
8.
Slide the T-Connectors up or down the angle of the side backstays until the bottom of the Ballast Drums
(A) and the lower section of the side backstays are resting firmly on the ground when the goal is in the
upright and playing position. Tighten the 5/16" U-Bolts on the T-Connectors.
