Using the Built-In Flash
Use the flash according to the guidelines below.
Auto with red-eye
The flash fires automatically as required by

the lighting level, and the red-eye reduction

Press the

between flash modes.
• The selected flash mode appears on the
display panel. It will also be displayed on
the LCD Monitor if the monitor is on .
• You can switch between settings by
pressing the

button. Some settings are
not available with certain shooting modes
(p.206).
