Light Control

Light Control lets you adjust the light being output (light source brightness) by the projector. When
"On" is selected for "Option Settings 1 3 Light Control 3 Light Control" (page 64) on the Setup
Menu (initial default setting), light output can be adjusted to one of seven levels.
To do this:
Adjust light output
Have light output adjusted
automatically
Light Control Off Mode (Maximum Brightness)
If you want the projection light to be at maximum brightness, change "Option Settings 1 3 Light
Control 3 Light Control" (page 64) on the Setup Menu to "Off", and "Light Control Off Mode" (page
60) to "Bright".
Note
 Selecting "Off" for "Light Control" disables light output adjustment and the brightness sensor.
Perform this operation:
1. While there is no menu or dialog box displayed on the projection screen, press the
[] or [] key.
 This displays the current light output level as a value from 1 to 7.
2. Use the [] and [] key to adjust light output.
3. To end the operation, press the [ESC] key.
1. Press the [MENU] key to display the Setup Menu.
2. Perform the following menu operation: "Option Settings 1", "Light Control", "Light
Sensor".
3. Use the [] and [] keys to change "Light Sensor" to "On".
4. After the settings are the way you want, press the [MENU] key to exit the Setup
Menu.
