PROBLEM
Excessive vibration
Cut binds, burns,
stalls motor when
ripping
Motor does not start
1. Remove the battery from the Ultra Saw
US20V.
2. Place the tool and the battery on a clean,
dry,
dust
noncombustible surface, in an area where
the temperature range is between 65-85 F
(16-29C). Make sure that the area is not
cluttered with other tools or objects.

Troubleshooting

Read instruction manual first! Disconnect battery pack from tool
before making any assembly, adjustments or changing accessories.
CAUSE
1. Wheel out of balance.
2. Workpiece not clamped
or supported properly.
1. Dull wheel.
2. Wheel binds.
3. Improper workpiece
support.
1. battery pack not
charged.
2. battery pack not
installed properly.
3. battery pack
temperature is too hot
or cold for operation.
4. burned out switch.
5. Other.

1. Discard wheel and use different
wheel.
2. Clamp or support workpiece.
1. Discard wheel and use a different
wheel. Or clean debris from
carbide grit with a wire brush.
2. Assemble wheel and tighten Lock
bolt per "Cutting Wheel
Assembly", see (page 15). Only
attempt to make straight cuts.
3. Clamp or support workpiece.
1. Charge battery if needed.
2. Confirm battery is locked and
secured to the tool.
3. Let battery sit a few minutes or
until it reaches normal operating
temperature.
4. Have switch replaced by an
Authorized Dremel Service Center
or Service Station.
5. Have tool inspected by an by an
Authorized Dremel Service Center
or Service Station.
Storage
3. Remove any battery from the charger
when the charging cycle is complete and
unplug the charger from the power
source. Store the battery as described in
#2 above.
