FM-1800ALKE-CO2(N)-SB
Refrigerant: R744
Supply pressure: 4 MPa (40 bar) or less
Refrigeration duty: 4.23kW at -25°C
While the icemaker is running, set the EPR
(evaporating pressure regulator) pressure and
evaporating temperature as below:
Suction pressure: 1.5 MPa (15 bar)
Evaporating temperature: -25°C

[c] LIQUID AND SUCTION LINES
1) The icemaker must be connected to the liquid
and suction lines of the R744 central cooling
system using two copper tubes of sufficient
sizes directed to the rear of the icemaker for
connection to the pre-fitted internal copper tubes.
Both tubes should be insulated separately.

Note: An electrical link/connection between the
icemaker and the R744 central cooling
system is NOT necessary because the
icemaker's internal controls will close the
electrically operated solenoid valves to stop
ice production.
2) After completing all the refrigeration tubing
connections, the pipe work should be leak tested
and evacuated.
3) The refrigeration connections are now complete.
Proceed to sections 4 and 5 to continue with
other service connection requirements before
completing section 6, the start-up procedure.
4) Refit the side and top panels in their correct
positions.
Note: 1. To prevent bugs from coming into the unit,
fill the gaps around the liquid and suction
lines.
2. Use phosphorus deoxidized copper tubes
thoroughly cleaned to remove dust and
moisture from inside. Weld (braze) the
tubes with inert gas such as dry nitrogen
gas flowing to prevent oxide scale.

WARNING
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This icemaker requires an earth that meets
t h e n a t i o n a l a n d l o c a l e l e c t r i c a l c o d e
requirements. To prevent possible severe
electrical shock to individuals or extensive
damage to equipment, install a proper earth
wire to the icemaker. Disconnect the main
power supply before any maintenance, repairs
or cleaning is undertaken.
* T h i s a p p l i a n c e r e q u i r e s a s e p a r a t e 220 -
240VAC, 12A supply. The electrical supply must
be protected by a suitable circuit breaker.
* Usually an electrical permit and services of a
licensed electrician are required.
* If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a replacement cord which is available from
Hoshizaki Parts/Service Centres.
