1 Install the battery in the Remote.
Correctly load a lithium battery into the Remote that comes with the Player.

Holding the release tab to the
left, slide the battery holder from
the Remote with your fingernail
catching the slit.

Place a lithium battery into the
battery holder and slide the
battery holder back into place.
• Make sure the ± side of the
Release tab
battery is facing in the same
direction as the ± mark on
the battery holder. The
remote control will not
operate correctly if you insert
the battery upside-down.
