IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions, carefully.

2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug, percolator or base in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessare when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts before cleaning.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electrical shock or injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let power cord hand over edge of table or counter, or to touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Always will the percolator first, then set the appliance onto the power base before plugging the power base into the wall socket.
12. Do not operate without adding the minimium amount (50cl) of water first.
13. Be sure to unplug the appliance once the percolator has been emptied and has been removed from the power base.
14. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
15. Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing cycle.
16. Be sure the cover is secure before serving any beverages.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction covering the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. If the jug is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
19. The percolator must only be used with the stand provided.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
21. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or other authorized service person.
22. This appliance is only intended for home use.
23. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the base panel. No user serviceable parts are inside.
