Rechargeable battery packs are not initially charged. Therefore the
first operation to perform is to charge them. See par. 5.1.

CHARGING THE BATTERIES
The battery autonomy varies according to factors, such as the frequency of barcode
scanning, of RF usage and of BIOS settings.
When the batteries are low, the LED blinks and a warning acoustic signal is emitted.
It is possible to recharge the batteries by placing the Kyman™ in its cradle or by
using the Kyman™ cable (see par. 2.1.2).
The charging process is signaled by the red constant LED of the CC8600 (see par.
4.5).
If the battery pack is removed from the terminal, it can be recharged by inserting it
into the recharging slot available in the cradle.
5.2
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
To correctly replace the batteries, proceed as follows.

Turn off the Kyman™ terminal.

Pull the lock button as indicated in the figure below:
