Video Preview window. The Intelligent Motion area will be displayed as Blue Cell in the
Video Preview.
NOTE: Intelligent Motion of the Video Analysis function cannot be used in conjunction
with Motion Detection function. If you choose Enable Intelligent Motion, motion
detection function is automatically turned off.
* Intrusion:
1. Select Intrusion to setup Intrusion alarm when any object enters/appears/exists
into/from the defined area.
2. Type the Rule Name.
3. Place the on/off toggle switch on ON, and set the preferred area to detect Intrusion
event in the Video Preview window. The Intrusion area will be displayed as Yellow Cell
in the Video Preview.
* Loitering:
1. Select Intrusion to setup Loitering event. When Loitering is configured, any object stays
in defined area certain time will trigger the event.
2. Type the Rule Name.
3. Place the on/off toggle switch on ON, and set the preferred area to detect Loitering
event in the Video Preview window. The Loitering area will be displayed as Purple Cell
in the Video Preview.
* Human:
1. Select Human to setup Human detection event. When Human is detected, event will be
triggered.
2. Type the Rule Name.
NOTE: To distinguish human correctly, following conditions need to be satisfied.
. The object size should take approximately 10-20% portion of the screen.
. The head and shoulder of the human should be visible.
. The human should be moving. The human detection function may not work properly in
the following cases.
. When he/she is sitting, lying or crawling
. When a moving object passes right below the installed camera
. When the head of the human is not visible
. When he/she carries big object
. When he/she is riding a bicycle
. When two or group of people are moving close to each other
. When he/she disappears from the screen within a very short time such as 1 second
– Exclusive Area: User can set up the area to be excluded from Object detection. This will
reduce false alarm and CPU usage of the camera by cutting down unnecessary operation.
Please note Exclusive Area only affect on Object based event. Motion and Tampering event
will operate regardless of Exclusive Area setting.
