Operation restrictions

Select this setting item from Device settings on Setup.
Important
• The administrator password is required to change settings if it is enabled for changing settings using
the operation panel.
You can restrict printing, copying, or faxing operations or to use a USB flash drive or a shared folder on the
computer.
Note
• When no operation restrictions are enabled, the confirmation screen to enable operation restrictions is
displayed. Tapping Yes enables you to restrict operations. If you have already restricted any operations,
the menu items are displayed. Tapping Change operation restrictions enables you to change the
settings of operation restrictions.
