Cause and remedial action
● Are you shooting in visible light?
 The focusing position differs between visible light conditions and
infrared conditions due to the difference in the index of refraction.
It is assumed with the unit that the infrared light has a wavelength in
the vicinity of 850 nm when Night mode is used. Focus manually as
required.
● Operation is problem‑free.
 What happens with the PsF (progressive segmented frame) system
is that the same images as the progressive system are output by
recording the same images in field 1 and field 2 so that the resulting
images may appear somewhat jerky.
● Activate the ATW (Auto tracking white adjustment) function.
● In some situations, the proper colors may not be reproduced
using the ATW function.
 In cases like this, proceed with the white balance adjustment.
● Use the ND filters to adjust light intensity.
● Either select the auto setting for the iris or select the manual
setting and adjust the iris manually.
● Set "Auto Shutter Limit" to "Off".
● Is Night mode established?
 In Night mode, the images are output in black and white.
● Is Night mode established?
 The auto white balance adjustment (AWB) cannot be used in Night
mode.
● Is the scene mode set to [Full Auto]?
 ATW is performed in Full Auto mode.
● In Night mode, the iris is set to open as a measure to prevent
video spying. Adjust the brightness at the light source.
● Since this camera uses a MOS image device, the shooting timing
differs slightly at the top left and bottom right of the screen.
This means that if a subject has moved quickly across in front of
the camera, it may appear slightly distorted.
This is not a malfunction.
