A factory recommended HDD should be used for this installation. Tools Required: Screwdriver. 2.2.1 Front Panel Plug-Pull Installation Front panel plug-pull installation is applicable when you need to open the device front panel with key and install the HDD.

    Network Video Recorder Quick Start Guide Chapter 3 Menu Operation 3.1 Start up Your Device Proper startup and shutdown procedures are crucial to expanding the life of the NVR. To start your device: Step 1 Check the power supply is plugged into an electrical outlet. It is HIGHLY recommended that an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) be used in conjunction with the device.
