Quality to select the picture quality setting (Fine, Normal, or Economy).
Shutter Sound to select a shutter sound (Default, Say "Cheez," "Ready", or Off).
Status Bar to switch the status bar display on or off.
Auto Save to to select the storage area for the pictures (In Phone, In microSD, or Switch
w/Card). (See "Selecting the Storage Area" on page 46.)
Save Setting to select the way to save pictures (Auto or Manual).
Recording Videos
Recording videos
Recording videos with your phone is as simple as taking a picture. For details on how to use all
the video features of your phone, please see your phone's user guide.
To record a video:
1. Press MENU/OK to access the main menu.
2. Select Pictures.
2. Select Camcorder to activate Video mode.
3. Using the phone's main LCD as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at your subject.
4. Press the Camera button or Record (left softkey) to begin recording the video.
5. Press the Camera button again or Stop (left softkey) to stop recording. (Recording will stop
automatically after a predetermined time, depending on your phone and its mass storage
options.)
6. Select an option to continue.
Press Play (left softkey) to play the video.
Press Next (right softkey) for additional video options (including Take New Video, Play,
Send to Contacts, Post to Services, Upload, Review Media, Send via Bluetooth, Set
as, Delete, and Details/Edit).
Press the Camera button to return to Video mode and take another video.
To take a video with the phone closed:
1.
Press the side camera key to activate the launch menu.
2.
Select Camcorder.
3.
Point the camera lens at your subject. (You can check the video framing through the Sub
LCD.)
4.
Press the side camera key to start recording.
5.
Press the side camera key to stop recording.
Selecting Camcorder Settings
To select your camcorder settings:
1.
From video mode, select Options (right softkey) > Camcorder Settings.
2.
Select an option from the following.
Resolution to select a file size (Good-176x144 or Medium-128x96) for a video.
Quality/Length to select video quality from Normal-35sec., Rich-25sec., or
Rich-120min. microSD.
Silent Movie to select On to record without sounds. Select Off to deactivate this
