Viewing Drive Assignments
The V iew Drive Assignments <2> option in the Main Menu displays w hether drives are assigned
to a disk arrays or are unassigned.
U nder the "Assignment" column, drives are labeled w ith their assigned disk array or show n as
"Free" if unassigned. S uch "Free" drives can be used for a future array. U nassigned drives are
not accessible by the OS. The menu also displays the data transfer mode that relates to speed
used by each drive (U 5 refers to 100MB/sec transfers, U 4 refers to 66MB/sec transfers, etc...)
