Adjusting the Print Image Position

You can adjust the print image posi-
tion in two ways:
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Forwards or Backwards
Use the { { { { Image Position} } } } keys.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Right or Left
Use the side tray fine adjusting di-
al.

Forwards or Backwards

* Paper feed direction

Press the left { { { { Image Position} } } } key
to move the image forwards, the
right key to move it backwards.
Note
❒ One push of either { { { { Image Posi-
tion} } } } key shifts the image posi-
tion by 0.5mm, 0.02" , up to a
maximum of 15mm, 0.6" in each
direction.
❒ When you shift the image for-
wards, leave a margin of more
than 5mm, 0.2" on the leading
edge. If there is no margin, pa-
per might wrap around the
drum and cause a misfeed.
