Options
You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful
and convenient to use. The following options are available:
Memory modules
Battery Pack
Universal AC Adaptor If you use your computer at more than one site, it may be

Pen (Stylus)
Two memory expansion slots are available for installing
128, 256 or 512 MB memory modules. The modules are SD
Random Access Memory (SD-RAM), 144-pin, SO Dual
Inline Memory Modules (SO-DIMM).
A Battery Pack (PA3228U) can be purchased from your
TOSHIBA dealer. The Battery Pack is identical to the one
that came with your computer. Use it as a spare or replace-
ment.

adaptor with you.
A 3 1/2" diskette drive accommodates 1.44-megabyte or
720-kilobyte diskette. It connects to a USB port. (Windows
XP does not support 720-kilobyte diskettes.)
The Battery Charger lets you charge spare batteries
outside the computer.
A slot is available to attach a security cable to the com-
puter to deter theft.
This option enables wireless LAN functions in computer
that does not have preinstalled wireless LAN. It is installed
by dealers only.
This option enables Blutooth wireless communications in
computer that does not have preinstalled Bluetooth. It is
installed by dalers only.
A Pen can be purchased from your TOSHIBA dealer. Use
it as a spare to your computer.
