OPERATION NOTES READ THESE NOTES BEFORE IN STALL ING OR OPERATING THE CAT5•6000 SYSTEM * Industry standard Category-5 (CAT-5) cables are used to operate CAT5•6000 system. Linking the CAT5•6000 sender and receiver units together requires one CAT-5 cable to extend the fi rst monitor, USB and audio signals. A second CAT-5 cable is required to extend the second monitor signal.

The ex•tend•it CAT5•6000 by Gefen allows users the benefi ts of extending USB, audio, RS232, and video signals beyond the desktop. In a growing number of applications, broadcast stations and production facilities need to locate a computer remotely from the keyboard, mouse, and video monitor.

CAT5 CABLE LENGTH SETUP Jumper settings are used to set the focus of the picture and characters to the best possible sharpness.
