options
The SET UP MENU provides you with various options to set up and
customize your VCR. See the table below for the available menu
choices. Initial settings are indicated in bold letters.

Menu choices
Menu option
Set this option to
LANG/ ENGLISH to set the on-screen language to English.
• ON to output a beep sound when an illogical
BUZZER
operation is made.
• OFF to deactivate it.
• ON to dim the VCR display.
DIMMER
• OFF to brighten it.
AUDIO MIX • ON to listen to the hi-fi and normal audio tracks at
the same time. The AUDIO MONITOR button
becomes inoperable.
• OFF to select the sound using the AUDIO
MONITOR button.

• ON to illuminate the DMS ring, r REC button, and
GUIDE LAMP
TIMER indicator on the VCR.
• OFF to turn them off.
HIFI AUDIO STD to record standard sound on a hi-fi audio track.

NICAM to record NICAM broadcasts on a hi-fi audio
