Data service

Data transmission
FELCOM 50 provides access to the international ISDN/PSTN network data
services through its built-in modem capability.
The service is suitable for applications such as high-speed file transfer, video,
e-mail and internet.
The transmission rate over the satellite is 64 kbps, and any standard PC with a
serial port can be used.
Ports supporting 64 kbps data service (UDI):
