If a problem occurs, first check the points listed below. If you are unable to remedy a problem by
following these hints, contact our helpline (page 2) or consult your dealer. Under no
circumstances should you try to repair the set yourself, as this will invalidate the guarantee.
Problem
LINK light (A-2, B-7)
does not light at all.
LINK light (A2, B-7)
flashing red/alarm
beeping on parent unit.
Possible cause
Parent unit:
Power adapter (B-13)
not plugged in.
Unit not turned on.
Batteries are low.
Batteries are empty.
Baby unit:
Power adapter (A-11)
not plugged in.
Batteries incorrectly
inserted.
Unit not turned on.
Batteries are low.
Units out of range.
Baby unit batteries are low.
Parent unit batteries are low.
Parent unit batteries are
empty.
Units cannot establish
connection, even when
close to each other.
No power on one of the
units.

Troubleshooting

Solution
Connect power adapter (B-13)
to parent unit.
Connect power adapter (B-13)
to wall outlet.
Press and hold On/Off button (y)
(B-5) for two seconds.
Recharge batteries (B-11).
Replace batteries (B-11).
Connect power adapter (A-11) to
baby unit.
Connect power adapter (A-11) to
wall outlet.
Insert batteries correctly.
Press and hold On/Off button (y)
(A-1) for two seconds.
Replace batteries (A-9).
Decrease distance between units
(see 'Technical specifications).
Replace batteries (A-9.).
Recharge batteries (B-11).
Replace batteries (B-11).
Try solving the problem by using
the factory initialization mode.
See chapter 'Factory initialization
mode'
Press On/Off button (A-1, B-5)
for two seconds.
