Problem
Machine shuts down after 5-10 minutes
Back fire hard to start
Machine moves but has low power
Machine makes a loud squeal when control
levers are actuated.

There is an oil pressure switch that will stop the
motor if the oil pressure is low. Low oil pressure
may be due to lack of oil. Check the oil level and
fill if necessary. If the oil level is ok it may be a
faulty switch. To check the switch jumper the
two contacts. If this solves the problem replace
the switch. Never operate the machine with
the switched jumpered.
Fuel mixture may need adjusting. This should be
done by a qualified Kawasaki dealer. Contact
Taylor Tools for your nearest dealer location.
Spark plugs will need to be changed if there has
been backfiring, use Auto Lite or NGK spark
plug brands only.

Solution
LECTRIC
o Check to see if the bypass valves are open.
o Check belt tension and tighten if necessary.
o Check hydraulic oil level
o Check belt tension
o Check hydraulic oil level
o If pumps have been run dry they may require
replacement.
o Check shaft seal for carpet fiber.
If the shaft seal is leaking it will require
removal of the hydraulic motor and be
repaired by a qualified hydraulic
company
failure due to running out of oil is
not covered by warranty.
