Electrical wiring work

Withdrawing the power cable

Connect the power cable protection tube into the power
supply box. Be sure that the power supply cable is not
damaged by burr on the knock-out hole.

Grounding work

The grounding must be done by a qualified installer for
safety.
Grounding the power cable
The standard of grounding may vary according to
the rated voltage and installation place of the air
conditioner.
Ground the power cable according to the following
table.

Grounding work must be done by an expert (with
qualification).
Check if the grounding resistance is lower than
100 Ω. When installing an earth leakage breaker (that
can cut the electric circuit within 0.5 second in case
of a short circuit), allowable grounding resistance
should be 30 ~ 500 Ω.
Note 2) Grounding at dry place
Check if the grounding resistance is lower than
100 Ω. Check if the grounding resistance is lower
than 250 Ω.
